
Katy is a Texas native and a resident of Comal county since 1995, so she understands the unique benefits that come with living and working in the beautiful Texas Hill Country. She attended TX State University and earned her BBA in Marketing and her Master of Education. She became a teacher with Comal ISD and poured her heart into teaching elementary school for 12 years.
Katy used her tenacity, dedication, and strong love of learning to pursue her real estate license, and quickly found a home with the Anders Pierce Realty team. She hit the ground running and used her strong desire to help people as a conduit to becoming one of the top agents within the office! The skills acquired in her teaching profession turned out to be incredibly helpful in serving her clients. Katy is an intent listener, a natural negotiator, a creative problem solver, and a hard worker. Katy has a high level of integrity and an unmatched devotion to her clients.
It did not take long for Katy to set herself apart within the real estate community. She was named “Rookie of the Year” in 2019 by the Four Rivers Association Board of Realtors! She has also been one of the top producers since she joined Anders Pierce Realty. Katy looks forward to continuing her upward trajectory and being a leader in not only sales, but also in her involvement with her community, peers, and Board of Realtors. Education is naturally very near and dear to Katy’s heart and she carries this value with her everywhere. Not wasting any time in pursuing higher real estate education, she obtained the prestigious GRI designation (Graduate Real Estate Institute) and the RENE certification (Real Estate Negotiation Expert).

Katy and her husband, Shannon, have three amazing daughters and 2 fat, lazy cats. When Katy is not making homeownership dreams come true, she is spending quality time with family and friends, running, volunteering at church, reading, and nurturing relationships with those around her
