Julie Ennis

Always focused on what she can do for her clients, Julie Collie Ennis describes herself as level headed and diplomatic, while those who know and have worked with her would call her a nurturer. They might also call her the poster girl for positive thinking and for what an upbeat attitude can do. For one thing, it’s helped her achieve Multi-Million Dollar Producer status.

One who lives by the golden rule, Julie truly enjoys looking for and bringing out the best in people. Some of her other self-sustaining and self-imposed rules include: “Stay true to who you are; be professional at all times even if those around you are not; and never ever say, ‘you do not have time to do something.’ You always find the time to do the things you want to do!”

Partnered with her husband, Don, they own and operate Ski Masters of Texas, “The Best Little Ski School in Texas” where Julie manages a multitude of staff, campers, clients and schedules in what she likes to call controlled chaos – particularly during summer camp sessions when the ski school has about 35 - 40 kids at a time.

Years ago, in one of those “Eureka moments,” they realized the natural connection between living on the lake and sharing it with Ski Masters clients who loved the area and wanted to move or own a vacation home there. Julie and Don were motivated to become licensed real estate agents to accommodate their search instead of referring them to other agents.

Their unique approach of combining the ski school and real estate operations, targeting ski clients who are interested in a home on Lake McQueeney, and their practice of showing property by water as well as by land, has allowed them to build a matchless reputation and a devoted following. Their live/work/play situation proves to be an asset since Julie and Don do not go away after the sale and remain always available to their clients. They can truthfully say that most of their past clients have become friends for life.

Julie is a graduate of the University of Texas with a degree in Communications with a background in Journalism and Advertising.  Julie and Don’s son Wade, daughter-in-law Juliet and their son Teddy live and work in Dallas.
